New inheritance tax-break for non-doms

A new tax dodge for non-doms from last week's Budget: shadow cabinet minister Lord Wood of Anfield has revealed that George Osborne has hiked inheritance tax exemption for non-doms.

Though the exact figure hasn't been agreed, it's likely a UK taxpayer will be able to transfer more of their inheritance tax allowance - the threshold is set at £55,000 - if a spouse is not living in the UK.
