A new website that combines Google Earth with a ratings system has allowed users to find pictures some of the most stunning places across the globe - shot from above.

Stratocam takes the aerial photography from Google's mapping service and allows visitors to the site to "up-vote" or "down-vote" on each one, according to the Daily Mail.

The more votes an image gets, the more likely it is to appear.

Pictures are uploaded from all over the world, ranging from the famous waterways of Venice to, plane graveyards in Arizona, and deserts of Saudi Arabia.

But, wherever they're from, all the pictures show the amazing variety of landscapes across our world.
