Chief executive 'churn' is a myth

The belief that company chief executives regularly jump ship to other top jobs is a myth, research has discovered.

Data from FTSE 350 companies showed that the "churn" of top positions in firms was much lower than commonly perceived, with just 51 chief executives moving their job from another chief executive position during a five-year period.
