Patrick Schwarzenegger 'in stitches' after skiing accident

Arnold Schwarzenegger's oldest son, Patrick, has been hurt in a skiing accident in Sun Valley, Idaho.

Patrick, 18, took a tumble on the slopes and posted the subsequent injuries on Twitter.

His pictures show him being strapped into a neck brace and given oxygen, as well as an image of a deep gash on his back that needed stitches.

The pictures were accompanied with the words: "Little ski accident today. Some bruises and stitches down back and butt. Thanks to sun valley doctors for everything."

Back in July 2010, Patrick's sibling Christopher was also involved in a rather more serious boogie boarding accident when he suffered a collapsed lung and multiple broken bones on the beach in Malibu.

According to the Daily Mail, the 14-year-old spent a week in hospital but has fully recovered.
