Swiss tax deal criticised by MPs

A tax deal with Switzerland aimed at preventing people using the country's secretive banking system to avoid paying UK dues has been criticised by MPs.

Tax dodgers appeared to have been granted a "more favourable tax treatment" than people who paid up in full and had also been allowed time to move their assets elsewhere, they said.
