VW Cross Coupé Concept - an SUV with eco cred

The Geneva Motor Show opens its doors to the press tomorrow and all the news you could ever hope for will leap forth. Until then, however, we have what manufacturers are pre-releasing. Volkswagen has revealed an interesting offering – the Cross Coupé Concept.

It looks a touch like an Amarok pick-up and a Touareg have had a tryst in a stationary cupboard. That's no bad thing, as their genetics are rather fine indeed. However, we do have to point out that because of its two rear doors it isn't actually a coupé. So it's more of a cross. Which is, erm... strange.
