Citroen DS4 Racing 'Concept' unveiled

Updated

We love a good concept here at Autoblog. Especially when it features big numbers, massive body kits and lots of promises. The latest addition to the premium Citroen DS range, Citroen DS4 Racing Concept is just up our alley, then.

The concept boasts a modified version of the DS3 R's 1.6-litre turbocharged engine and puts out an incredible 256bhp. That's 160bhp per litre. Or, in ultra-laymans terms: very, very, very, very powerful. How did Citroen achieve such a number? Trick engineering and, we suspect, liberal application of a GIANT turbo. Even with such power it's still relatively green, emitting only 155g/km CO2.
