Surrey tops home office league table

Surrey is the nation's top home office hotspot, with some 27,000 home offices and almost 5% of total area employment working in home offices. It seems in Surrey, an Englishman's home is more office than castle.

Research across 174 principal authority areas in England & Wales by Smart Growth Analytics found the average was 5,000 home offices, accounting for around 3% of employment.
