M25 coach tour is a sell out, more dates added

At the tail end of 2011 we told you about Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company offering a coach tour of the M25.

The news spread somewhat and since then the tour has sold out. That means a literal coach load of people want to have a tour of the M25 and will happily pay real, hard-earned money for the privilege.
Now, according to The Mirror, the demand for a 118-mile tour of one of the UK's nastiest, most snarled up, depressing, road-worky stretches of tarmac is so great that Brighton & Hove has laid on two more buses.

The tours will feature a tour guide who will point out such landmarks as Heathrow's Terminal Five and the Dartford Crossing. Planned stops include South Mimms and Clackets Lane services.

Brighton & Hove spokesman Roger French commented that the tours appeal to: "a complete cross section of people – motorway anoraks, older people, young people and petrolheads who know the road but don't get time to enjoy the vistas".

A complete cross section they may be, but you'll forgive us if we don't invite them over for dinner.
