Freezing February costs us £1.6 billion

The February cold snap has wreaked havoc with our household budgets. According to Moneysupermarket.com it has added an astonishing £77 to our household bills as we struggled to keep our homes above freezing, leaving one in three worried about how they will afford their energy bills.

So what can we do?
