As life gets increasingly unaffordable for us all, spare a thought for the poor folk of Zurich, revealed today by the Economist Intelligence Unit as the most expensive city in the world.
It's the first time the city has taken the title, pushing it above Tokyo in the world rankings. But what makes these cities so expensive, and where does the UK come in this list?
