Film buff with £200,000 to spare? You might want to snap up the Ellangowan Hotel in Creetown, which was once used as the fictional Green Man pub in the 1973 horror film, The Wicker Man.

The bar saw Britt Eckland pulling its pints, and the movie also featured Christopher Lee and Edward Woodward.

The establishment is a nine-bedroom hotel located in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.

A director at estate agents Colliers International, Alistair Letham, said the property was on at a reduced price.

He told the BBC: "The Ellangowan attracts a significant number of film fans who visit the area to take in the locations seen in The Wicker Man.

"Sadly, Britt Ekland is no longer working behind the bar, but the visitors to the bar partake in a lot less sacrifice than seen in the film, making it a popular local venue."
