US Indian tribes sue beer makers

The American-Indian Oglala Sioux Tribe of South Dakota is suing several large beer makers. They claim that the beer makers knowingly inflicted severe alcohol-related problems on their community.

The tribe want $500 million in damages to cover the costs of social services, health care and child rehabilitation caused by the alleged booze abuse on their reservation.
