Pick of the early market news

Revived bank and growth worries plus bonus squabbles all drove down the FTSE 100 yesterday. The index finished -1.09% down at 5,671. There were few gainers with AstraZeneca being the biggest riser (just 0.63% up). Overnight, Asian stocks have dipped slightly; in Japan, Honda claimed net profits had slumped 41% in the last quarter. The Dow Jones also slipped slightly (-0.05%) at close of trading.
