Mortgage data: how to cut costs

Figures from the British Bankers' Association revealed that in December the number of mortgage approvals was at its highest for almost two years, at 36,171. While this only constitutes a small overall change from the previous month, within the figures are three clear indications of opportunities we now have to cut the cost of our mortgage.
