Should you ditch the fixed energy deal?

After years of pain, energy prices have finally started to fall. It has brought some long-awaited relief for those on variable deals. However, during the years of incredible hikes, many people turned to fixed energy deals in order to keep a lid on out-of-control bills.

So where do the recent price cuts leave them? Is it time for them to ditch the fix?
