Jaguar unveils cheapest ever XF

Jaguar has unveiled the cheapest ever XF. The new 2.2 Diesel 163 uses a detuned version of the 188bhp 2.2-litre turbo diesel unit recently introduced in the XF.

This version has 161bhp (the 163 moniker denotes its metric horsepower rating, which is slightly different to imperial bhp) and thus is significantly slower: 0-62mph happens in 9.8 seconds, 1.3 slower than it does in the more powerful 2.2 version.
