A newly published list of the official gifts received by the royal couple during the course of their overseas trips last year reveals that headwear is the runaway winner in terms of popularity.
Prince William went on two official overseas trips last year, a visit to New Zealand and Australia on his own in March and a visit to Canada with his new wife in June and July.
And we hope they took big suitcases because between them they received more than 200 gifts during that time - including no fewer than 20 different types of headgear.
These included two collections of baseball caps for Wills, a pair of stetson hats (pictured) like JR Ewing used to wear in Dallas, a flying helmet, a traditional Aussie Akubra hat, several more feminine hats for Kate - as well as fascinators for her and even more baseball caps for Wills.
Other presents received by the royal couple included snow goggles made out of caribou antlers, a salmon lure, a mosquito trap, a papier mache model of a cassowary bird and a jar of Vegemite.
The full list of gifts was published by Clarence House yesterday - and also included presents they accepted during their unofficial visits to Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Kuwait, Qatar, South Africa and Tanzania last year.
