One in six UK families sold their second car in 2011
According to a study by the tyre manufacturer Bridgestone, one in six British families sold their second car in 2011 because of the rising cost of fuel.
The research of 2,000 families found that millions of cash strapped Brits are now looking at ways of cutting their living costs, with motoring being a popular way to save.
