New Stratos is dead, regenerating into Alpine?

We were very, very excited at the prospect of an all-new Lancia Stratos barrelling (sideways) on to the roads. Especially considering it was designed by Pininfarina and full of delicious Ferrari bits.

Ok, it wasn't an official Lancia, more a very pretty modernised version of the Italian brand's finest. Still, Ferrari lent its support and allowed the bods behind New Stratos to build a car based on the 430.
