Going backwards costs £409 million a year

Updated

Accident Exchange has done some research and found out that reversing costs the motorist £409 million every year. Sort of, it's the people going backwards into stationary objects, other cars and the like who are racking up the bills.

Apparently nearly 200,000 reversing accidents (around 500 a day) happen every year at a cost of £2,213 (average) to fix the damage.
