Travellers lose £400 milllion through hidden fees

Sneaky fees could be costing British travellers buying foreign currency more than £400 million each year. Thomas Cook at Heathrow Airport has been unmasked as the worst culprit, with big brands charging up to 10% more than online providers of travel money.

Over four million Brits will make an overseas trip this Christmas and New Year and travellers are being warned that they could lose out through the poor exchange rates offered at airports and high street banks.
