No quick solution for care funding crisis

The state of long term care in the UK is a scandal. Some 20,000 people a year are forced to sell their homes to pay for residential care, as bills soar to £100,000 or more. The government has recognised that this is a national crisis and that something has to be done. It set up a commission, which is due to report imminently and millions held out hope for a solution.
Now the government is telling us we may have to wait until 2025.
