Enter the roll-up TV

Scientists have developed technology that will allow for extremely thin screens so that you could actually roll up a TV like a piece of wallpaper, have a massive one attached to a wall with no weight - and they're expecting models to be available this time next year. I'm guessing - only guessing - that they won't sell. Why not?
