Heating cut 'to pay for Christmas'

People are selling off last year's Christmas gifts or going without heating to fund their festive spending this year, a survey from Barclaycard has found.

Researchers found that 44% of people have not been able to budget or save anything in advance for this year's celebrations, as the economic uncertainty continues.
