Pick of the early market news
The FTSE 100 ended 25 points higher yesterday finishing the day at 5,337 points. Overnight there were jitters in Asia with the Hang Seng losing 1.9% and the Nikkei 225 slipping 0.5% - much concern remains over the eurozone and the lack - still - of an announcement by finance ministers of a plan. Meanwhile in the UK, investors will be digesting grim OBR predictions, and yet more borrowing.
