2011 has been a memorable year for Skoda. It's the year when the Volkswagen-owned Czech manufacturer, took a modified production Octavia vRS hatch to a record-breaking 227.080 mph on Utah's legendary Bonneville Salt Flats at Bonneville Speed Week.

The year also saw Andreas Mikkelsen winning this year's IRC Rally Championship in a Skoda Fabia S2000.
