Watch out for ticket and retail frenzies

Art lovers are queuing for hours at the National Gallery to get their hands on advance tickets for the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition, but it appears there are profiteers amongst the enthusiasts as the £16 tickets are popping up for sale online for a whopping £250.

Such ticket touting echoes recent cases of 'retail scalping' where individuals buy up limited edition products, only to sell them at hugely inflated prices online. So what can we learn from these ticket and retail frenzies?
