Crackdown on fashion's unpaid workforce

Revenue and Customs is planning a crackdown on fashion companies employing unpaid interns in breach of the minimum wage laws.

HMRC has convened a taskforce to make unannounced inspections of businesses with powers to question managers and look over accounts.
