Apple beats Adobe's Flash mob

It looks as though Apple has finally won the argument over whether people should be able to use Adobe's Flash technology on the move - Adobe is retreating over development of the animation software, saying the next version of HTML (the computer language that allows you to see web pages) will do a better job.

The absence of Flash has hamstrung Apple's mobile devices from day one.
