Goodwood
Drivers and riders with incomparable talent, a fearless approach to speed, a relentless competitive streak and insatiable skills; individuals who thrive in the spotlight and can make a name for themselves overnight; designers and engineers who take risks and push the limits in the ultimate pursuit of speed.

These are the young guns who are born to win and next year Goodwood is holding a party for them.

The 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed will commemorate the young drivers who have proved that they are top of their game. From Bernd Rosemeyer to Emerson Fittipaldi, Lewis Hamilton to Valentino Rossi and Henri Toivonen and Colin McRae, these are racers who created a storm and attracted a whole new audience to racing.

Alongside the Young Guns theme, the 2012 Festival will mark the 60th anniversary of Lotus Engineering. Inspired by Colin Chapman, this small British company dominated all levels of motor sport, from club racing to Formula 1. The legacy of Lotus will be celebrated with a spectacular collection of winning Lotus cars, from F1, Indycars, saloons and sports cars.

Goodwood will also retain the 'Young Persons' ticket scheme for 13 - 21 year olds, allowing a wider audience to enjoy the world renowned show.
