Indian GP: Vettel wins at a canter

Updated

Sebastian Vettel led from start to finish in the first Indian Grand Prix to win in imperious style and notch up his eleventh victory of the season. The Red Bull driver never yielded the race lead, even during pit stops. And in the closing stage of the race, he capped it all by posting a couple of fastest laps, eventually crossing the line 8.4 seconds ahead of Jenson Button, the only other man on the track who came close to matching the world champion. Every time that Button looked as if he might be launching an attack, Vettel responded in withering fashion.
