Ahead of Formula One's first appearance on Indian soil, Vodafone McLaren Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button have been giving their exclusive first impressions, thoughts and reactions to the sights and sounds of Delhi to Step Inside the Circuit.
Jenson Button's first impressions of India: "I've never been to India before, and I have to say that I like what I've seen so far, although admittedly I haven't been very far. I went to an authentic restaurant and that was a really interesting experience for a couple of hours, but apart from that, I've been based at my hotel, training in the gym or having massages – the usual race preparation routine. The food was really fantastic; my girlfriend Jessica has also been to an Indian restaurant and said that the food was exceptionally good."
Lewis Hamilton loves the new Buddh International Circuit: "All in all, the Indian authorities have done an excellent job. The circuit is very fast, the grip level is great, the run-off areas are brilliant and the kerbs are probably the best of any Formula One circuit – it's a wonderful, flowing track. There's no reason to complain, the Buddh International Circuit is simply perfect."
