Personal data thieves should face jail

Have you ever received a text message encouraging you to claim for an accident that either did or did not happen, and wondered how the sender got hold of your number? It's annoying and frankly, quite sinister too.

Now MPs have spoken out that criminals who break data protection laws and obtain personal details by deception should face jail.
