Vince Cable's VAT fine - a disgrace

Vince Cable's £500 fine for failing to pay his VAT on time shows he is not fit to be business secretary. The fact that he managed to wangle his VAT down to just £15,000 shows how tax avoidance at the top of government is rife – and the Lib Dems are as bad as anyone.

I run a small business and pay VAT and, from my experience, I can tell you, his VAT bill on £192,000 of earnings is a joke.
