New EU rules for temporary staff

Temporary staff are set to get the same rights as full-time staff after 12 weeks in a job, following the new Agency Workers Directive introduced this month.

Yet this good news for staff is set to cost businesses millions and Tesco has admitted to cutting back on temporary workers in order to wriggle out of the new EU obligation.
