Taxman writes off billions due to errors

It's going to come as a surprise to no-one that HMRC has made a catalogue of errors over the years. However, it is fairly shocking how much money they have had to write off because of their mistakes.

Because they are going to need to tax the rest of us even more in order to make the money up.
