Economy is worse under us: Vince Cable

There's a general rule of thumb with politicians when they get involved in the economy: they usually meddle just enough to make everything a whole lot worse.

Usually they don't like to own up to this until they are publishing their diaries decades later. Vince Cable, however, has broken with tradition, and admitted that the economy is far worse under the coalition government. So what's going on?
