UK calls for its own 'Ring

Campaigners are calling for the Department for Culture Media and Sport to consider creating a British version of Germany's Nurburgring.

Why? Two reasons, actually. First and foremost to rejuvenate an area of the UK that could do with a light sprucing and secondly to have a place where people can learn about speed without putting themselves and other road users at risk.
