Richard Desmond's new Health Lottery claims it has one good cause at its heart - health. However the TV show, fronted by Melinda Messenger, now worries many hospices. They fear Desmond's venture means organisations like the Hospice Lotteries Association (HLA) could lose money. Especially when the HLA gives up to 60p in a pound to good causes - and the Health Lottery just 20p.
