Hamilton criticises Schumacher and vice versa

Updated

Lewis Hamilton knows where he lost out on pole position. On his fast run, he got into a tricky situation on the last corner when Mark Webber and Michael Schumacher suddenly popped up next to him. The McLaren man went so far as to describe their driving as dangerous.

"Jenson was slowing down ahead of me to create a gap ," said Hamilton. "Going into the last corner, I wanted to make sure that there was enough distance between him and me." As he entered the chicane, he saw in his mirror that Webber was coming up on the inside: "I didn't see Michael at all, but when he tried to come past, I nearly crashed into Webber. That was extremely dangerous."
