Sony rumoured to be buying Ericsson

Electronics giant Sony is reported to be sniffing round considering buying communications company Ericsson. Hey, they could start calling any resulting phones something like "Sony Ericsson" or something. Put it another way: if they're already making phones together, why would they bother?
