Second practice: McLaren are back

Jenson Button once again secures fastest time in the second practice session at Suzuka. Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel come home in second and third place.

Is Sebastian Vettel suffering from nerves at the prospect of clinching his second title? The 24-year-old only needs to score one point this weekend to bag the F1 championship. He crashed into the tyre wall in first practice and was placed third in his Red Bull racing car at the end of FP2. Jenson Button posted best time once more, as he had done earlier in first practice.
