Energy suppliers wrongly charging consumers for switching

When energy suppliers announce price rises, they are normally obliged to inform us that we can switch providers and not charge us for doing so.

Yet an investigation has found that some sneaky companies are flouting rules from energy regular Ofgen by charging consumers up to £100 to leave their contracts.
