Visitors to Bristol Zoo Gardens will be soon be able to see its newest arrival: a baby gorilla.
Born on September 28 to mother Salome, the baby gorilla has yet to be named.
The zoo has a great record for animals being born in captivity, there have been recent births of a number of rare species, including a pair of golden lion tamarinds.
These endangered animals are native to tropical rain forests in Brazil, where 90% of their habitat has been destroyed. Click on the image below to see some of the zoo's latest rare breed babies born this year...
