Halifax cash prizes for savers

Britain's biggest savings bank Halifax is to give away cash prizes totalling £6 million a year as part of a bid to shake up the savings market.

Halifax and Bank of Scotland savers aged over 18 with balances of £5,000 or more will be in the running for monthly prizes of between £100 and £100,000.
