Older women win pensions reprieve

The proposed changes to the state pension age were set to leave hundreds of thousands of women high and dry, forcing them to keep on working for another two years with almost no warning.

However, the government seems to be reforming a spectacular u-turn, which could see their pension woes ease dramatically.
