Around the world in 60 seconds: Take our virtual tour

Always wanted to travel the world but never had the time? Well, this 60 second video will allow you to do just that.

This virtual tour of the planet shows a compilation of time-lapse images shot from 220 miles above the earth from the International Space Station.

Science teacher James Drake put together the images to create the one-minute footage which he posted on You Tube. It has since become an internet sensation with over 2 million views.

Mr Drake put together around 600 free-to-access images from the website The Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth to take us on this incredible journey across the globe.
