What's to love? Immaculate service, great food, a perfect setting and, no kids!

First impressions? Grand, palatial, with fabulous gardens and ice-blue swimming pools. Walk a little further, however, and it's that postcard-perfect mile of white sand and blue sea that takes your breath away.

Best room in the house? The 'Prime Minister Honeymoon Beachfront Villa Suite', with its lavish four-poster bed, master bedroom looking out over the ocean and, frankly, massive living space, comes with butler service and serious green-eyed stares from the rest of the guests.

Where to eat? For Italian-style fine dining, head to Il Cielo, or if you prefer your food with a little je ne sais quoi, La Parisienne serves Left Bank-inspired cuisine. At the other end of the spectrum, Barefoot by the Sea is the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch on the beach.

Top tip? Request a beachfront walkout room – they're the same price as similar penthouse or 'oceanfront' rooms, but, as the name suggests, mean you can open the doors and dip your toes straight in the sand.

This place is perfect if you're... looking for an all-inclusive holiday, but want plenty of choice when you get there.

If you do one thing here, make sure it's... making the most of the beach. With the swim-up bar and parasols, nearly all guests spend their days by the pool, meaning the beach is often all-but deserted.

Things to do, places to see... With everything in one place, including water sports and a golf course, it's easy to stay put. Make the effort though to leave the hotel and be rewarded by the island's stunning mangroves, Robinson Crusoe-style deserted beaches and great markets.
