An extra £500 on energy bills as climate change rules the roost

As gas and electricity bills head up and up, everyone seems to turn on the energy providers to blame or fleecing their customers but the price rises aren't necessarily all their fault.

Because there is a built-in rise for energy prices that comes directly from the government needing to build thousands of new wind turbines and hook them up to the National Grid over the coming years. According to one expert, that will cost around £100billion.

All in the name of climate change.
